Chris is originally from Singapore. He spent 6 years in Nottingham, UK in medical school at the University of Nottingham and also did his Housemanship year there. Thereafter, he continued in Singapore as a junior doctor and then as surgeon in training. Continuing with Urological training, he was conferred the Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine in Singapore as a Urologist in 2001.

For Sub-specialty training, Chris spent one year at Westmead Hospital, Sydney, NSW focusing on Laparoscopic Urological Surgery (Keyhole surgery in relation to urological operations).

He practiced in Australia first in Dubbo, NSW at the Dubbo Base Hospital as a Senior Staff Specialist from 2006 to 2008, then settled in Port Macquarie where he is now a Visiting Medical Officer to the Wauchope District Hospital, Kempsey District Hospital, Port Macquarie Base Hospital, as well as the Port Macquarie Private Hospital.

Chris serves patients in the wider Hastings and Mid-North Coast communities.

Aside from being a busy Urologists, Chris enjoys being involved with teaching and was a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney whilst at Dubbo and now Clinical Lecturer with the University of New South Wales. He is regularly teaching medical students in his clinic and on the hospital wards. Port Macquarie Base Hospital is also a hospital for training urologists and Chris plays a key role in registrar teaching.

Chris has an interest in treating Urinary stone disease as well as performing laparoscopic operations for relevant conditions.

He is married with 2 young boys, and enjoy the outdoors in and around the Mid-North Coast.
